Solar garden products are a great way to spiff up any part of your yard or garden. And since there is no wiring, solar is by far the easiest to install. If you have wanted to use solar power, but you aren’t ready to power you whole house or are a renter, solar products and accessories are a great way to go. Solar garden products and accessories are useful and decorative and don’t cost a cent to operate. They can also be moved easily to accommodate your landscaping or moved to an entirely new house. I started using solar lighting to define my walkway about six years ago. I have moved my solar lights to two additional houses and they still work fine. I have added a solar fountain with a solar water pump that burbles pleasingly and some more solar lighting. I am planning to add a solar birdbath before winter comes around again. I now use solar exclusively for all of my yard and garden needs. What I have placed so far in my garden is only a sampling of what is available in solar products. I have yet to try the Solar Moler, which purports to rid your garden of moles by sending short, small pulses of electricity into the ground. But I will probably get to try one out this year. I shared my flower bulbs and root vegetables with the critters last year. There are also solar stepping stones that you could use to light a path to a cozy corner lit with solar lighting and kept mosquito-free with a solar-powered mosquito repeller. There are even solar fairies and gnomes to further accent your outdoor living space. For safety and security, you can get solar security lights to deter intruders and solar house numbers that are easily seen by anyone trying to find your home. And for those of you with a pool that is too frigid to jump in to, I recommend solar pool heating. Solar garden products and accessories are affordable and easy to install and uninstall. They come in a range of products from the purely whimsical to the extremely useful to make your outdoor living area a safer, more inviting place for you and your guests.
